GIFTS

Do you receive gifts during Christmas?
Yes! I do receive gifts from my parents.
But I've notice that Christ must the one that we should give gifts during Christmas.
Because He's the one celebrating a birthday during Christmas.
But how should we give gifts to Christ?
Yes!!!!I know how to......
We must do good things to others by helping others in times of need, saying polite words to everyone, love one anotherand many others.
By that way, doing good things to others that is our gift from Christ.
Every good thing you do to other's is consider as your gift to Christ.
We should do good things to others not only during Christmas time but every time.
Because Christ give us blessings every time.....................

CHRISTMAS

When the month of  September comes, people are now busy decorating their houses with different Christmas decors. Lighting up the Christmas tree and putting up some decors on the ceiling. People are busy preparing for Christmas which we celebrate every 25th day of December.  But what Christmas really is? Is it all about how we put up Christmas decors on our house?

Christmas does not count how many gifts we receive, how many lights blink inside and outside the house, how tall our Christmas trees, and how abundant our food we prepare.

Christmas is all about giving and sharing.  It is celebrating the birth of our savior, JESUS CHRIST. He gave His life to us. He was born to save us.

The important thing is the ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS should not be neglected. Though it is Christmas or not. We people should always keep in our hearts the value we get from it. The value of sharing and giving. We must learn to share things and share our talents to make others happy. Learn to give with open arms and heart full of joy. And giving something to others in which we do not count something in return. And of course treasure the VALUE OF FAMILY because it is only our family who really stand for us for the rest of our journey. Our family will always be our wall to lean on in times of heavy burdens and a shoulder to cry on..

               CRYSTAL MOMENT

Once or twice this side of death
Things can make one hold his breath.

From my childhood I remember
A crystal moment of September.

A wooded island rang with sounds
Of church bells in the throats of hounds.

A buck leaped out and took the tide
With jewels flowing past each side.

With his high head like a tree
He swam within a yard of me.

I saw a golden drop of light
In his eyes turned dark with fright.

I saw the forest holiness
On him a fierce caress.

Fear made him lovely past belief,
My heart was trembling like a leaf.

He leaned towards the land and life
With need upon him like a knife.

In his wake the hot hounds churned,
They stretch their muzzles out and yearned.

They bayed no more, but swam and throbbed
Hunger drove them till they sobbed.

Pursued,pursuers reach the shore
And vanished.I saw nothing more.

BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS

BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS

What can you do with a ball?
You can throw it on the wall.
You can throw it on the ground.
Or bounce it on the floor.
These are the things You can do with a ball.

What else can you do with a ball?
You throw and we'll catch with it.
You roll and we'll chase it.
You kick and it will fly high,
But it will never reach the sky.

Balls,balls,balls
They come from many colors.
Red,blue and yellow,
White,black and indigo.

          FACTS ABOUT PEARLS...........

Pearl fact 1 - Pearls are the only gemstone made by living animals.
Pearl fact 2 - Harvesting pearls from mollusks does not kill the animals, as they can be re-implanted and used to make more pearls.
Pearl fact 3 - Akoya, or saltwater pearls come from oysters, but freshwater pearls usually come from mussels, although all mollusks can make pearls.
Pearl fact 4 - Pearls take their color from the inside of the shell in which they are growing. They range from white to gold, and from purple to black.
Pearl fact 5 - Virtually all pearls today are "cultured" or "cultivated". Harvesting "natural" pearls was compromised by water pollution, tsunamis, and other phenomena that made it difficult to leave the oysters safely in the water long enough to grow sizeable pearls.
Pearl fact 6 - Every pearl is unique. No two are alike, and all have some imperfections.
Pearl fact 7 - The oldest known pearl jewelry fragment was found in the sarcophagus of a Persian princess who died in 520 BC.
Pearl fact 8 - Cleopatra won a bet that she could provide Marc Antony with a banquet costing more than the assets of a country. She took off a pearl earring, dissolved it in wine and drank it.
Pearl fact 9 - Pearl farming is know as "Periculture."
Pearl fact 10 - In 1916, Jacques Cartier bought his 5th Avenue store by trading two pearl necklaces for the land.

SIDDHARTHA GAUTAMA

Siddhartha Gautama, the man who became known as Buddha, could have led a comfortable, carefree life. But he devoted himself to a search for truth and understanding so that he could help end the suffering of other people.

Late in life, Gautama was given the name Buddha, which means “enlightened one.” Buddha was considered enlightened because he had gained understanding of spiritual matters. His teachings form the basis of Buddhism, one of the world's major religions.

Buddha was born around 563 BC in Nepal. His family were nobles and warriors. They wanted him to be a warrior, too. But from childhood, Buddha was quiet and thoughtful. He did not like the privileged life at his father’s palace. He found it dull. So he began to wander around the countryside, thinking deeply about the right way to live.

DISNEYLAND

Disneyland was the first Disney theme park. It opened in Anaheim, California, in 1955. Disneyland was created by cartoonist Walt Disney. He invented Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and many other cartoon characters. Walt Disney died in 1966. The company he founded runs the theme parks.
Walt Disney wanted rides at Disneyland to be like stepping into a fantasy world. You can ride around and around in a giant teacup at the Mad Tea Party. It’s borrowed from the Mad Hatter’s party in Alice in the Wonderland. You can fly through the air on the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride. You can glide in a boat and watch pirates fight in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. You can ride an old-time train around the park. You can stroll down Main Street, an old-time town display. You can also stay at Disneyland hotels.

BLIND PEOPLE DREAM

Whtcne

People who become blind after birth can see images in their dreams. People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion. It is hard for a seeing person to imagine, but the body’s need for sleep is so strong that it is able to handle virtually all physical situations to make it happen.

The Creator

Since the beginning of creation
You are my inspiration.
For He sent you to have a relation
And friendship you put in nation.

For God is the creator
Whose creation is great.
And that He gave us the right to care
For His love to us is eternal.

Fishes are happy swimming under the sea.
Birds are flying across the sky.
And people are smiling, watching over them
Because of God's great creation.

Many the things He gave to us
For this we should care.
And God is the greatest Creator
That everybody knows.

Your Time Has Come

A moonlight in the evening
From the puffy moon.
A smile in the morning
From the rising sun.

You're the twinkling star
From the dark corner.
You're the great shadow
In the deepest darkness.

Bring your lighted candle
And let the whole world
Shouts with joy.
And sings praise to HIM.

Let your day be filled with love.
And the world full of joy.
Let the rich be filled with passion
And the needy smiles at you.

One True Friend

My eyes is longing for you
My ears, hear your voice
My mind is recanting all the memories
And my heart dances with joy

When I cry, you comfort me
When I sing, you dance
When I'm sad, you make me laugh
And love exist in your heart

A friend whose love is eternal
Someone you can lean on
And that is my father
A friend of mine.

Bonding Time

I had a great time today because we went to church together. And after attending the holy mass we went to the mall and bond with our father since we seldom see him. We take first our dinner. And enjoy the food we eat. We have lots of fun playing different games, strolling inside the mall and buy some stuff. Being with my family is incomparable.

Love Each Other

Love Each Other
We must love each other so pure
So we can prevent anguish.
Our family astonish us with their Great love for us
And we must not be coward
Of showing our love to them.

We suddenly get fidget and clumsy
Just by telling our mother i love you.
But we sometimes collapse
If she had a response too.

We must not discriminate others in loving too
But rather love others in all seasons.
Whether it rains or it droughts

Sharing My Tween Thoughts

Hi, my name is Jewel Marie. I have a lot of things to share and believe that growing up does not happen on its own. I have my family on my side where I can always turn to when I need family support.

I wish to express my thoughts, share things and experiences, see what other tweens and teenagers are doing, interact with them, and get their opinions about growing up. Blogging will help me experience all of these.

This is the beginning of my blog. I will be writing about my tween experiences, family values, precious family time and exciting family outings.

I would also like my readers to enjoy reading my blog posts. You may share your opinions by leaving your comments below.
